Upcoming Training
Our facilitator trainings are delivered by trainers employed by the University of Melbourne. These sessions are suitable for anyone who works with parents and carers in a professional capacity, particularly in family and community services, child protection, foster/kinship care, health, mental health and education sectors.
All our trainings blend lecture-style and experiential learning modules and give trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching. In addition, specific developmental and theoretical information for each program is included.
Our trainings are delivered from Melbourne, Australia, and are available in both online and in-person formats – please see our schedule below for upcoming availability.

In-person and online training options available!
This training is suitable for all experienced and qualified workers in the caring sector whose client base includes children (approximately 3 – 10 years) and their parents and carers. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Kids 6-week parenting program to parents and carers.
Cost: AUD$990 per participant
In-person and online training options available!
This training is suitable for all experienced and qualified workers in the caring sector whose client base includes adolescents and pre-adolescents (approximately 11 years and up) and their parents. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Teens 6-week parenting program to parents and carers.
Cost: AUD$484 per participant
Online training available!
A special 1-session training for certified Tuning in to Kids facilitators whose client base includes children (approximately 3 – 10 years) and their fathers and male carers. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Dads Tuning in to Kids 7-week parenting program.
You must have completed Tuning in to Kids facilitator training to take this workshop.
