DESCRIPTION:Tuning in to Kids is an evidence-based parenting program developed by Dr. Sophie Havighurst and Ann Harley in Melbourne\, Australia with research trials conducted through The University of Melbourne.  \nTuning in to Kids ONLINE VIA ZOOM is a 3-half-day professional development workshop that gives trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching. The workshop blends lecture-style and experiential learning modules. Pre-reading and video material will be sent prior to the first session. This workshop is suitable for all experienced and qualified workers in the caring sector whose client base includes children (approximately 3 – 10 years) and their parents. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Kids 6-week parenting program to parents and carers. \nTrainees are asked to login by 8.45am AEDT – work will finish at 1.00pm (AEDT Melbourne\, Australia) each day of the workshop – Wednesday March 17\, Thursday March 18 and Friday March 19.  Please also note\, you must attend all three zoom sessions in order to receive certification.  \nParticipants will receive a zoom link after enrolling. Participants must attend each day of the workshop March 25\, 26 & 29 to receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Teens 6-week parenting program to parents and carers. \nTrainees are asked to login before or by 8.45am start on Thursday March 25\, Friday March 26 and Monday March 29. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS OUTSIDE AEST/AEDT (Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight Savings Time) Please check dates and times in your local and/or international time zone to ensure your are able to participate from day one and continue through each of the three sessions. \nParticipants will receive a zoom link after enrolling.
