Inspiring Warriors is excited to be facilitating the fantastic, evidenced-based Tuning in to Kids Program.
Parents, do you want to learn how to…
~ help your child manage BIG emotions?
~ be more ‘in tune with your child’?
~ help your child deal better with conflict?
~ improve communication between siblings?
Tuning in to Kids™ is an evidence-based parenting program that aims to give you helpful & practical ways of teaching your child how to understand & use emotions effectively to self regulate.
Tuning in to Kids™ teaches parents:
* awareness & regulation of their own emotions
* awareness of their children’s emotions
* to use children’s emotional experiences as an opportunity for closeness and teaching
* skills in assisting children to verbally label & manage their emotions
* skills in assisting children in problem solving
* to guide children’s behaviour with appropriate limits
This condensed version of the program will be run over two consecutive Saturdays July 20th & 27th from 9.00 – 4.00pm at Ashburton Community Centre : Room 2. The Ashburton Community Centre is (co-located with the Ashburton Library) at 160 High Street, Ashburton 3147
Morning tea, afternoon tea & course notes are provided. $320 per person.
