DESCRIPTION:Tuning in to Teens is a 2-day professional development workshop that gives trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching as well as useful information about teenage brain development. The workshop blends lecture-style and experiential learning modules. This workshop is suitable for all experienced and qualified workers in the caring sector whose client base includes adolescents and pre-adolescents (approximately 11 years and up) and their parents. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Teens 6-week parenting program to parents and carers. \nTrainees are asked to arrive by 9.00am for a 9.15am start – work will finish at 5.00pm in the afternoon on both days of the workshop.
