Tuning in to Kids – Online via Zoom – July 7,8,9 – WORKSHOP FULL

Tuning in to Kids is an evidence-based parenting program developed by Dr. Sophie Havighurst and Ann Harley in Melbourne, Australia with research trials conducted through The University of Melbourne.
Tuning in to Kids ONLINE VIA ZOOM is a 3-half-day professional development workshop that gives trainees a grounding in the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching. The workshop blends lecture-style and experiential learning modules. Pre-reading, video material and digital workshop pack will be sent prior to the first session. This workshop is suitable for all experienced and qualified workers in the caring sector whose client base includes children (approximately 3 – 10 years) and their parents. Participants who complete the workshop receive a certificate that authorises them to deliver the Tuning in to Kids 6-week parenting program to parents and carers.
Trainees are asked to login by 12.45pm AEST for a 1pm start – work will finish at 5.00pm (AEDT Melbourne, Australia) each day of the workshop – Wednesday July 7, Thursday July 8 and Friday July 9. Please also note, you must attend all three zoom sessions in order to receive certification.
Participants will receive a zoom link after enrolling. Digital workshop materials will be sent by email prior to July 7. Partipants must provide a secure postal address to receive their program manual after the completion of their training on July 9*
*Our program manuals are available in hardcopy only. Participants outside Australia will incur an additional postal fee for program materials.
